Meditation Maze

This piece is from my small exclusive edition of
Giclée prints* of the Meditation Maze serie.
Its made on 100% cotton, watercolor paper and the edition is signed and
numbered to a maximum of 75 pieces in two sizes. Size 30x40, size 50x70 and
then 30 pieces in the size 100x120 cm.
The original piece is a sewn paper and fabric collage and it was part of an
exhibition in Madrid, Spain at “MONAT Gallery” in May 2025.
Story behind the creation:
This piece was the first Meditation Maze I created and the creation was a refuge
during a period of work pressure, where building up the collage developed into a
meditative practice. I worked intuitively from the center of the piece and gradually
outward without any predetermined plan, allowing the final result to be defined by
the process itself, with the piece’s form and size naturally finding their conclusion.
The title of the work reflects the labyrinthine, almost meditatively repetitive journey
that the piece took me through.
