This piece is a giclée print made on 100% cotton, watercolor paper and the edition is
signed and numbered to a maximum of 100 pieces in size 70x100cm.
I had White Woman in other sizes, but they are sold out.
Story behind the creation.
The original piece “White Woman” is made as a sewn paper collage, where the
black contour threads and the sewn paper hands, head and dress are fixed between
two glass sheets. So this piece is partly transparent. The original work is sold and is
hanging on the Gold Cost, Australia.
I have also made a handful of mixed media originals of this woman, where the dress
is long and in different colors, so no one looks like this giclée print in the form and
shape.
I have also make a limited mixed media serie of White Woman that are not transparent. Example pic.4.
Picture 1. shows White Woman as a Giclée print and normally I frame her with raw edges or with white border. I have a handfull of her in the size 70x100 on 100% cotton structured paper. All signed and numbered to a maximum of 100.
