Wild horses

TThis piece is from my exclusive edition of Giclée prints* of Wild Horses.
They are made on 100% cotton, watercolor paper and the edition is signed and
numbered to a maximum of 10 pieces in the size: 136x119 cm and 100 pieces in the
size 70x100 cm.
Many years ago I had Wild horses in other sizes, as a serie of fineart-prints signed and
numbered and they are sold out.
Story behind the creation.
I created this piece as a private commission. It does not depict the woman who was
meant to own it, but rather serves as a portrait of her life story and her thoughts. I keep the exact nature of these stories private, but the work is open to free interpretation.
I personally imagined the woman as dreamy, with her hair symbolizing the thoughts
that pass through her mind, as well as the central people in her life.
I was inspired to name it Wild Horses because of the woman’s relationship with
horses and the many pegasus I created as part of that interpretation. This, in turn, led
my thoughts to the Wild Horses by The Rolling Stones.
