Golden Fingers
ab Price on request
- Inspired by Egon Schiele and his painting with focus on hands and fingers.
I made "Golden Fingers" as part of the exhibition "working with Schiele" back in 2017. This piece was inspired by the paintings i general by Egon Schiele and his inspiration of the works made by Gustav Klimt - or as he had put it him self - "non" inspiration of Klimt. Also one of the reasons I used chocolate gold wrappers in most of my pieces in this exhibition, to draw parallels between the two artists.
The original piece is made as a sewn paper collage with black threads between two glass sheets. So the piece is party transparent. Size 52x72 cm.
